Miss Rahat Khan is an experienced NHS Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist in Essex, UK. She received her preliminary education in Malta and obtained her primary medical qualification from Karachi. She was awarded Certificate of Completion in Obstetrics and Gynaecology after her speciality training in the South Thames London deanery rotational training programme in the UK. She became a Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, London in 2006. She was awarded Fellowship by the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in London, in 2019. She is one of the Directors in Essex Medical Society and has completed the Integrated Leadership programme at the Anglia Ruskin University in Chelmsford, UK.
Miss Khan is an educational and clinical supervisor for undergraduate and postgraduate trainees. She is an examiner for the Part 3 MRCOG exams at the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, London.
She has held various roles: Clinical Services Group Lead, Lead Consultant for the labour ward and appraiser role. She has publications in several peer-reviewed journals and has published chapters in textbooks.
