Program Accreditation

The Doctoris iuris (Ph.D. in Law) Program (English-language/Georgian-language) of the New Vision University was granted accreditation by Resolution №155 of Educational Program Accreditation Board, dated 5 November 2013. The Program was re-accredited unconditionally for next seven years by Resolution №142 of Educational Program Accreditation Board, dated 4 Deceber 2018.

The Medical Doctor’s Program (English-language) of the New Vision University was granted accreditation by Resolution №156 of Educational Program Accreditation Board, dated 5 November 2013, and re-accredited unconditionally for next seven years by Resolution №143 of Educational Program Accreditation Board, dated 3 November 2018. The procedure was accomplished in accordance with the World Federation of Medical Education (WFME) standards and with the involvement of international experts. The Program is in full compliance with the European Directive 2005/36/EC of the European Parliament and of the European Council of 7 September 2005 on the recognition of professional qualifications.

The Bachelor of Law Program (Georgian-language) of the New Vision University was granted accreditation by Resolution №204 of Educational Program Accreditation Board, dated 11 December 2013. This Program (Georgian-language) was re-accredited unconditionally for next seven years by Resolution №182 of Educational Program Accreditation Board, dated 4 December 2018.

Master’s Programme in Comparative Private and International Law (English-language/Georgian-language) of New Vision University was granted accreditation by Resolution №21 of Educational Program Accreditation Board, dated 05 February 2014. It was re-accredited unconditionally for next seven years by Resolution №23 of Educational Program Accreditation Board, dated 22 January 2019.

Master’s Program in Business Administration (English-language) of New Vision University was granted accreditation by Resolution №22 of Educational Program Accreditation Board, dated 05 February 2014.

The Bachelor's program of Political Science and International Relations (English-language) of the New Vision University was granted accreditation on 15 July 2015 by the Resolution № 57 of the Educational Program Accreditation Board and received re-accreditation for the next 7 years on 16 October 2020 by the Resolution № 971594 of the Educational Program Accreditation Board.

Ph.D. in Medicine Program (English-language/Georgian-language) of the New Vision University was granted accreditation by Resolution №58 of Educational Program Accreditation Board, dated 15 July 2015.

Bachelor's program in Business Administration (English-language) of the New Vision University was granted accreditation by Resolution №97 of Educational Program Accreditation Board, dated 16 August 2016.

Bachelor's program in Medical Rehabilitation and Nursing Care (English-language) of the New Vision University was granted accreditation by Resolution №98 of Educational Program Accreditation Board, dated 16 August 2016.

Master’s program in Medical Rehabilitation and Healthcare Management (English-language) of the New Vision University was granted accreditation by Resolution №99 of Educational Program Accreditation Board, dated 16 August 2016.

Summary

  

 

Southampton where, as an MRC Training Fellow, he did his PhD under Professor Sir George Alberti.  His work at that time investigated metabolic disturbances in liver disease and metabolic aspects of endocrinology. He moved to Newcastle where he was First Assistant to Professor Reg Hall.  He subsequently obtained a Wellcome Senior Clinical Research Fellowship, investigating metabolism in diabetes.
