Internationalization Strategy

My internship in Spain at CHUAC Hospital (La Coruna, Spain) was very enriching. Although, it was very challenging because of COVID-19 and adjusting to the new guidelines, nonetheless I thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of my stay. The faculties’ helpfulness and hospitality was very rewarding. I was made feel as part of every team of doctors I worked with and joined different seminars as well as training classes i.e. CPR and suturing. I spent my time in the psychiatric unit of the hospital and in the neurology ward. There I learnt the staggering differences in healthcare systems and the different ways of approaching different patients. It was eye opening to say the least how basic human right i.e. healthcare is approached differently in different countries in Europe. Apart from the Hospital I was also shown around the city , La Coruña is absolutely breath- taking.

In spring semester New Vision University gave me opportunity to benefit from studies at the Business and Law MA program, Wildau Technical University (Germany) in the capacity of exchange student. The main challenge that arose during the studies was the pandemic situation due to Covid-19 because of which I had to switch to distant learning. Each lecturer was investing in a productive learning atmosphere for students. Furthermore, I was given the opportunity to get to know the international students and study with them. Taking courses at Wildau Technical University equipped my with the knowledge about new teaching methods, establish effective communication with lecturers and students, have access to all teaching materials, and receive a state-of-the-art education.

I am very glad that I had a chance to study a spring semester at Wildau Technical University.  Spread of novel corona virus completely changed my plans, I could not travel to Germany, but despite all the difficulties, I can say that e-learning process was so well oriented to students, that we felt very comfortable. Lecturers did their best to share their knowledge and experience with us. Now I can say that knowledge, which I gained during studying at Wildau, will help me in achieving my  goals.
