New Vision University Internationalization Policy

Internationalization is one of the key priorities of the University and is regarded as an essential instrument for the promotion of education, research and implementation and sharing of innovations, what, at the same time, is the means of development of social responsibility, open and tolerant relationship.

The main goal of NVU internationalization is for the University to become the distinguished institution with innovations tailored to public requirements, with interdisciplinary and trans- disciplinary researches.

NVU vigorously supports measures, that bring closer professors, scientists, students, establishments and society in general of Georgia and various countries for mutually beneficial cooperation.

Internationalization, as dominant parameter of improvement of educational and research quality, is implemented in four main directions:

  • Internationalization of educational programs and researches
  • Development and implementation of joint programs/projects
  • Introduction of modern technologies

Summary

  

 

Southampton where, as an MRC Training Fellow, he did his PhD under Professor Sir George Alberti.  His work at that time investigated metabolic disturbances in liver disease and metabolic aspects of endocrinology. He moved to Newcastle where he was First Assistant to Professor Reg Hall.  He subsequently obtained a Wellcome Senior Clinical Research Fellowship, investigating metabolism in diabetes.
