Georgi Adeishvili graduated from the Higher Medical School "Ayeti" in 2003 with the qualification of a general practitioner. In 2006 he graduated from the Clinical Residency in Urology (Russia, Nizhny Novgorod). In 2011, he was awarded a state certificate in Urology in Tbilisi. In 2011, he was also awarded a state certificate in Tbilisi, in the subspecialty of onco-urology.

In 2014-2017, he studied oncology in postgraduate studies at the Center for Radiology and Surgical Technology Research in St. Petersburg. Since 2019 he has been studying for a doctorate in oncology at Tbilisi State Medical University.

Giorgi Adeishvili worked as a urologist in 2007-2011 at the Nizhny Novgorod Olga Federal Okrug Medical Center in Russia, at the Imereti Regional Hospital in 2011-2012, at the Medula Clinic of Chemotherapy and Immunotherapy in 2012-2014, at the O. Ghudushauri National Medical Center in 2013-2014 and in the multidisciplinary clinic "Medica" (Russia, St. Petersburg) in 2015-2016.

From 2016 to present, he is a urologist at Rustavi №2 Medical Diagnostic Center and Newmed Clinic. From 2019 to present, he has been working as a urologist at №23 Medical Holding and Medical Holding Madison. From 2016 to present, he is the Head of the Urology Department at the Tbilisi multi-profile clinic Consilium Medula.

Southampton where, as an MRC Training Fellow, he did his PhD under Professor Sir George Alberti.  His work at that time investigated metabolic disturbances in liver disease and metabolic aspects of endocrinology. He moved to Newcastle where he was First Assistant to Professor Reg Hall.  He subsequently obtained a Wellcome Senior Clinical Research Fellowship, investigating metabolism in diabetes.
